Event Background
In 2023, Australia and Vietnam celebrate fifty years of diplomatic relations. Over the past five decades, the two countries have established strong partnerships in research, innovation and knowledge exchange across a wide range of disciplines. The “Australia Vietnam Innovation Symposium” will celebrate this long history of collaboration in research, science and technology. Experts from industry, academia and government will speak about shared challenges facing our region, and discuss new opportunities for partnership to address these issues. In particular, we will explore how research and innovation can enable both countries to meet their global commitments to sustainable development and economic prosperity.
This is an event to celebrate the research and innovation between Australia and Vietnam as a part of the fiftieth anniversary celebrations.
